Wellesley Water Meadow

About

The Wellesley Water Meadow consists of 32 acres of tussocky meadow providing both a local amenity and nature conservation area. From Spring through to Summer the meadow will be fully established with a cut back in the winter months to allow the wild flower growth to persist.

Located along Mill Lane behind Wellington Country Park

All areas have a variation of public friendly paths forming a handful of different circular walks and loops. There is a gravelled car park by the site entrance with ample parking.

The Dog Etiquette

Supervise your dog at all times and be mindful of any problems.

Do not let your dog off the lead unless you can demonstrate a very reliable recall.

Do not allow your dog to approach other dogs with their owners that are on a lead. You should  never assume that they want attention from your dog.

Your dog should be in your sight at all times. Out of site, out of control.

Only allow your dog to play off the lead with other dogs with the owners consent.

Keep your dog under close control or on lead when people with or without a dog are passing.
